Puzzle #9: Rock Band

After last week’s slightly vertical grid, I thought I would try a slightly horizontal one (I owe you 4 more squares).

Thinking of landscape images, I thought of Mount Rushmore. The lack of symmetry in the names didn’t deter me, though I did try to preserve symmetry as much as possible.

WENTLAST started off as WENTLONG, but that repeats half of LONGLIFE which is inelegant. Then I found WENTLIVE which sort of duplicates the LIFE of LONGLIFE. Finally, I settled on WENTLAST, which does not seem to create any dupes or sort of dupes. This is the kind of thing that constructors agonize over which most solvers don’t even notice.
